Journalists Compete on the Green Field

On July 4 of this year, a football tournament among journalists was held at the stadium located in the Ohalik mahalla of Samarkand district.

The football festival was organized as part of the events dedicated to the Day of Press and Mass Media Workers, with the support of the Regional Department of Information and Mass Communications, the Samarkand branch of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, the Regional Department of Sanitary-Epidemiological Wellbeing and Public Health, and the sponsorship of "KAFIL-SUG‘URTA" Joint Stock Company.

Four teams participated in the tournament: print media employees, television and radio journalists, press service representatives, and a team of internet journalists and regional correspondents of national media outlets.
