Implementation of the e-Polis System Underway

On December 14, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. 780 “On Additional Measures to Improve the Procedure for Providing Electronic Insurance Services.”

On March 29 of this year, a meeting was held to ensure the implementation of the above-mentioned Resolution and to discuss the challenges and possible solutions in the process of introducing the e-Polis system.

The event was attended by the leadership and officials of the Insurance Market Development Agency under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Director of the Insurance Payments Guarantee Fund, the Head of the Uzbekistan Insurers Association, and representatives of insurance companies.

The meeting focused on the introduction of the electronic policy system for the Compulsory Insurance of Civil Liability of Vehicle Owners.
