By the Government Decree (dated September 27, 2021 No. 609), amendments and additions were made to the rules of compulsory civil liability insurance of vehicle owners.

According to the legislation, the procedure is established for drivers to receive insurance compensation in case of an accident by drawing up an accident report without the participation of police officers.

Accordingly, by November 1, 2021, a sample notification form will be posted on the websites of insurance companies and will be available for download.

The notice is drawn up in two copies if the following grounds exist simultaneously:

➖ the victim did not receive minor injuries or property was not damaged;
➖ when one of the participants does not plead guilty;
➖ when the accident happened without the participation of pedestrians;
➖ in case of an accident, only 2 cars;
➖ if the civil liability of the participants is insured;
➖ Driver's license, registration certificate, power of attorney, travel document;
➖ if the drivers are not drunk;
➖ If the damage to the cars does not cause conflict.

The decision will enter into force on November 25, 2021.
